Una función inesperada

Max Brandel is a television writer who risks his successful career and marriage to try his hand at becoming a stand-up comedian, but is unsuccessful. Max then has to move in with his father, Stan, a talented but eccentric chef turned janitor. When Max has a major disagreement with his ex-wife and her new partner over how to deal with their 9-year-old son, Ezra's autism, Max decides to take a drastic approach: kidnap Ezra and take him on a cross-country road trip.
