CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Founded in 1974 by the Augustinian monks of the Monastery, the Escolanía has its roots in the tradition of the children who sang in the Monastery's Basilica since its founding. The Escorial Escolanía has maintained its prestige and continues to be an emblem of Spain's musical history and culture. Their technical training is combined with a special charisma, only available to children, making each performance a unique experience for spectators. The Escolanía's musical excellence is internationally recognized. In recent years, it has traveled to countries such as the United States, Italy, Russia, Belgium, and Mexico. This musical group is a gift to the people of Madrid.
