Music has undergone a truly scandalous evolution. Trap and reggaeton have dominated the charts and the airwaves for years, and their deep, recognisable beats have caused some figures to ‘turn in their graves’.
Beethoven, Vivaldi, Schubert, Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky… The composers of humanity’s most timeless works have been forced to return from their (well-deserved) eternal rest and work overtime.
A repertoire brimming with irony and references to contemporary musical culture, which also features elements drawn from other topical themes.
The show uses the figure of the classical composer as a starting point to tackle themes such as the trivialisation of musical culture, the impact of social media, nostalgia for the past, and the role of music as a tool for thought. All of this is conveyed through humour, irony and live music on stage.
